Le procès Eichmann en Israel peut être vu sous l'angle politique ou social (donner un témoignage de l'Holocauste aux jeunes Israeliens qui devront l'avoir à l'esprit sans l'avoir connu). Mais Hannah Arendt rapporte que le procès ne fut pas celui du fanatisme: ce fonctionnaire n'était pas antisémite et tenta même de justifier son implication dans la solution finale par le respect de la morale kantienne. Pourriez vous m'aidez à éclaircir ce débat?
-quelle est la spécificité de la morale kantienne dans ce contexte?
-analyse de l'adhésion au totalitarisme: quelles sont les explications les plus pertinentes pour aborder l'adhésion des masses aux régimes totalitaires comme le III° Reich: l'état providence, l'antisémitisme latent, la revanch , le repli derrière une allemagne forte?
-quelles sont les pensées sur les totalitarismes et comment peuvent-elles résoudre la question de la culpabilité de fonctionnaire Eichmann ?
-plus proche de nous, comment caractériser le mouvement de "rationalisation" aux Etats-Unis mené notamment par Noam Chomsky: peut-il être résumé à la crtique de la démocratie US en tant que nouveau totalitarisme?
-la comparaison avec Adolf Eichmann a été utilisé par le professeur Ward CHURCHILL dans une université du Colorado pour décrire les victimes du 11 septembre, dénonçant ainsi l'apparition du concept d'innocence des victimes comme outil d'amnésie des dirigeants. On peut admettre qu'il ait pété les plombs mais les médias rapportent unanimement des opinions fustigeant le message du professeur:existe-t-il aux Etats-Unis une pensées voulant (d'après ce que je comprend de Chomsky) remettre à plat le système politique américain?
Y a-t-il eu notamment des défenseurs pour le professeur Ward CHURCHILL?
